Than Sports Shirt day when my Boston loving wife is out of town?

Don’t mind the Shockey jersey. It was a moment of weakness….

Happy 11th of July

Since we missed the big fireworks shows because we were in the Outer Banks, we got to make up for lost time last night at the City of Alexandria fireworks. Free parking at the offic r got us close to the action. A very smart vendor was selling light-up lightsabers and had to have made a killing based on all the kids running around with them.

As always, some pics attached. I gotta sat, for $7, those lightsabers look pretty cool in these photos.

Boys on the Town

With Stephanie and Elizabeth off blueberry picking, it was up to the boys to run some errands. Haircuts, Costco and groceries were the order of the day, with a special interpretive dance from Matthew to the Dawson’s Creek song in the middle of the Barber Shop that left me wishing I could upgrade to the 3gs so I could have gotten the video.

As you can see, errands with Dad leave you with any opportunities for fun….

Back from the Beach

Yes. We survived a week down at the Outer Banks with 26 of our closest friends… 12 of which were under 10!

I just wanted to share some pictures. Hopefully I will be updating this much more frequently now tha I can do it directly from my phone.
